Mark your calendar for Saturday, June 24 at 9:45 a.m.

Our Own Laura Warner Gilmer is being ordained, Deacon Saturday, June 24, at 10 a.m. in Houston and EDoT is live streaming this ceremony via Facebook. Knowing many of our church members can’t make the trip to show her support, we’re having a watch party, complete with mimosas (thanks, Lisa Daly), some kind of egg casserole (thanks, Debbie Vardell), and whatever else you would like to bring.

Join us at 9:45 a.m. when we’ll be getting settled in. We have no idea how long the service will be, but we are guessing we’ll be through about noon. We look forward to celebrating Laura together and hope to see you there!
